Access and/or use of this Gilead website are subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein and all applicable laws, statutes, and/or regulations. This Gilead website is intended for audience in South Korea only. Your access or use of this Gilead website indicates your acceptance of these terms, and your representation that you are at least nineteen years of age or older. If Gilead amends these Terms of Use, Gilead will notify you of the reasons and the effective date of the amendments from seven days before the effective date until the day before the effective date. In the case of amendments that are adverse to the users, however, Gilead will notify such amendments at least 30 days prior to the effective date along with a clear statement that the failure to express an objection to the amendments by the day before the effective date will be deemed as consent to the amended terms. If the user does not express an objection within the specified period despite the statement, the user will be deemed as having consented to the amended terms.

A “Member” means an individual with a license of doctor, nurse or pharmacist who (i) has subscribed for the use of Gilead website, (ii) approved by Gilead as eligible for the membership, (iii) has accepted these Terms of Use and filled in the membership application form, and (iv) has received a user ID and password.

1. Application for membership is completed upon the applicant’s acceptance of these Terms of Use and Gilead’s approval of the application.
2. An applicant must provide the minimum personal information requested by Gilead.
3. The user ID granted at the time of subscription may not be amended and only one ID per member will be granted.

Gilead may reject an application for membership if the application is submitted under another person’s name or a false name, the application form contains false information or the application is expected to interrupt the ordinary provision of the services or to substantially interrupt the use of the services by other members.

Gilead provides the following services to the registered members. The contents of the services may be changed or terminated in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and Gilead’s internal policy, in which case Gilead may notify the change or termination of the relevant service via registered email addresses of the member.

• Subscription to Gilead website membership and management of the membership
• Provision of medical information regarding the Company’s products, Taking actions to and providing relevant medical information to inquiries on the Company’s products, including questions and answers

Gilead may temporarily suspend the provision of the services in certain cases such as connection disruption, or breakdown, maintenance and replacement of telecommunication equipment.

Gilead may suspense the use of the services for a period of time or terminate the membership without prior notice in the following cases and will not be responsible for any resultant damages or loss. Any member whose membership has been suspended or terminated must submit a written objection if he/she has a complaint. In such case, Gilead will review the validity of the objection and will notify the result of their review to the member.

1. Unauthorized use of another person’s ID and password

2. Submitting false documentation or falsifying the contents of the application form

3. A member being found to be ineligible for membership (non-healthcare professional)

4. Use of the services for criminal purposes

5. Causing significant disruption to other members’ use of the services

6. Duplicate membership by a single person under different IDs

7. Occurrence (or likelihood) of a war, incident, natural disaster or any other similar national emergency

8. Occurrence of any event which warrants suspension or termination of the services such as regular maintenance or disruption to the network in Gilead’s opinion

9. Violation of applicable laws or regulations or any terms and conditions determined by Gilead

1. Each member has the full responsibility to manage his/her ID and password.

2. If the member becomes aware that his/her ID has been used without authorization, the member must report such fact to Gilead.

3. Gilead does not provide or sell personally identifiable information to non-affiliated third parties without prior consent of the members.

In order to provide quality services, Gilead performs regular maintenance and inspection of its services. In addition, Gilead may temporarily suspend the services for the purposes of overall system upgrades or maintenance.
